Advanced Settings

In the Advanced Settings section you can modify the

802.11bpreamblemode,QoSmode,andPSPXlinkmode.

1. Set the preamble mode setting from the 802.11b

  PreambleModelist.ChooseAutotoletthedevicemake

  theselection,Longforbetterdevicecompatibility,and

  Shortforbetternetworkefciency.

2. SettheQOSmodefromtheQOSModelist.Theoptions

  areEnabledorDisabled.

3. SetthePSPgamingmodefromthePSPXlinkModelist.

  TheoptionsareEnabledorDisabled.

4. SettheFragmentThresholdbymovingtheslidercontrol

  ormanuallyenteringavalueinthetextbox.Thefragment

  threshold species the maximum size of a packet

  duringdatatransmission.Avaluetoolowcouldleadto

low performance.

5. Set the RTS Threshold by moving the slider control or

  manuallyenteringavalueinthetextbox.Ifthepacket

  sizeissmallerthantheRTSthreshold,thedevicewillnot

use RTS/CTS to send the data packet.

6. ClicktheRefreshbuttontorefreshthesettings.Click

  theApplybuttonto save changes settings. Click Set

  Defaultbuttontochangethecurrentsettingsbackto

  theirdefaultvalues.
